ROCHELLE MARKS
Rochelle Marks started dancing at the young age of 2 years old. When she was 8 years old, she was chosen to dance at four concerts with the Phoenix Symphony during Symphony for the Schools, using her own choreography to an 8 minute segment of Carmen. By the age of 10, she had personally choreographed and danced in two mass media DVDs: Creating Ballet Fun and Creating Ballet Dreams, which teach children that ballet is more than just steps; it also involves emotions and imagination. Rochelle has been spotlighted in many media forms, including television interviews and the COSTCO magazine. In the summer of 2009 she attended Houston Ballet's summer intensive program. At 13 years old, she was promoted to Principal dancer with the pre-professional ballet company, Ballet Etudes. Her passion and goal has always remained the same...to dance professionally with a major ballet company.
Our InvolvementGiving Hope Worldwide is assisting to help support Rochelle and her dream of becoming a professional dancer. We are helping to provide her with training opportunities to compete in ballet and contemporary styles of dance. |
